Orange County Labor Federation

The Orange County Labor Federation (OCLF) proudly announces the appointment of Yesenia Ruby Godinez to a Santa Ana City Commission.  She is one of the first graduates of the OCLF’s popular Leadership Training program sponsored by The California Endowment as part of the Building Healthy Communities initiative in Santa Ana.  Ruby attended more than 24 hours of OCLF led training where she learned about city government, boards & commissions, the Santa Ana Unified School District, public speaking and community organizing.

Anaheim Arena Management, the company that owns the Honda Center and the Anaheim Ducks, plans to take over the operation of the stadium's food concessions from Aramark. But they haven’t assured over 400 Honda Center workers, members of UNITEHERE Local 11, that they will be able to keep their jobs.
