ORANGE COUNTY, CA – Every year, the Orange County Labor Federation organizes the May Day March and rally in commemoration of International Workers Day. With a broad coalition of labor unions and community groups, together we will march in solidarity to send a clear message that attacks on ALL workers will not be tolerated in Orange County.
We stand together as ONE to defend, protect and respect workers’ rights. We will not be divided! We will fight as one against all attacks on working families.
“The Orange County Labor Federation along with more than 90 local unions from every sector of the labor movement will stand with ALL workers in the community. It is important now more than ever that we speak out against unjust treatment of workers whether it is from public or private sectors. We refuse to be silent! On May Day, we will honor the contributions and sacrifices of all working families in Orange County,” said Gloria Alvarado, Interim Executive Director.
The march will commence in the parking area of St. Boniface Church located at 120 N. Janss St. Anaheim, CA 92805 preceded by a rally. A short rally at Pearson Park marks the conclusion of the march.
